CYNKON’s strategic planning workshop is a collaborative session designed to facilitate the development or refinement of an organization’s strategic plan and direction. It brings together key stakeholders to define the organization’s vision, mission, goals, and objectives.
We take a holistic approach to include key steps and components, based on best practices, into our strategic planning workshops. They include:
- Pre-Workshop Preparation where we gather relevant information such as market analysis, internal assessments, and any previous strategic plans.
- Sets clear objectives by defining the aim of the strategic planning workshop.
- Define its vision and mission by discussing and defining the desired future state and the purpose for existence. This sets the overarching direction and provides a framework for subsequent discussions.
- Conduct a SWOT analysis, which involves identifying the organization's Strengths, Weaknesses, Opportunities, and Threats.
- Establish high-level Specific, Measurable, Achievable, Relevant, and Time-bound (SMART) goals that align with the organization's vision and mission.
- Break down the SMART goals into strategic initiatives and action planning, creating a roadmap for prioritization and monitoring success.
- Identify the potential risks and challenges that may hinder the successful implementation of the strategic plan.
- Develop a communication strategy to engage and inform stakeholders throughout the implementation process of the strategic plan.
- Summarize the key outcomes of the workshop and support in the creation of an action plan with clear next steps.
